MEDICAL DETOX

Whether you’re breaking free from the shackles of ecstasy, opioid, cannabis, alcohol addiction and other substances, medical detoxes are regarded as the most daunting prospect for any addicted individual – but they don’t have to be. We’re committed to creating a safety net for risk-free detoxes by managing your symptoms, safely monitoring the withdrawal process, and providing a round-the-clock support system for when times get tough.

We avail you with two options, the in-facility or home-assisted program. With In-facility Detox at Safe Places, we focus on ensuring you remain as comfortable as possible both mentally and physically while your withdrawal symptoms are managed, and you’ll be monitored day and night by a multi-disciplinary medical team. In unique circumstances, home-assisted Detox is administered in the safest of ways possible. In both ways, our team will be 24/7 in charge of your medications, responding to concerns and putting your mind at ease. It’s a delicate process, and one we’re committed to getting right.
It’s a high-stakes process, and at its core, the service is premised on a drive to keep you safe through the risks of quitting cold turkey, which range from heart palpitations, diarrhoea, vomiting, sweats and shakes, high blood pressure to violent seizures and even death. We believe one should not go through withdrawals without medical monitoring. You deserve the chance to reach full-blown recovery – we’re here to ensure you don’t fall at the last hurdle.
Discreet, compassionate, and deeply respectful, with a passion for helping individuals escape the clutches of addiction, we ultimately exist to help those with dependencies get their lives back. It’s our calling, using medically assisted detoxes, a keen listening ear, and a patient-led treatment plan to kick-start your recovery. Safe, secure, and always focused on long-term results, as it should be.

IN-PATIENT PROGRAMME (ADMISSION)

We would love to welcome you into our in-patient facility, making our spacious rooms and calm environment the backdrop to your recovery journey. This programme is the leading catalyst for long-term sobriety and managed mental illness. After an assessment from the receiving professional, and a recommendation for in-patient care, a personalised treatment plan is developed between the client and professional to suit the opted-for program.
At the beginning of the program, we will introduce you to our friendly team and orient you to our environment. Then, we will take time to get to know your desires, goals and loved ones’ expectations, as well as communicate our centre policies and expectations, before showing you what daily life at Safe Places looks like. Then we shall embark on a joint holistic journey to healing comprising of You at the centre, Us and your family/support system.

OUT-PATIENT PROGRAMME

Here to hold your hand through life challenges or changes, navigate through stressful and Traumatic events, loss and grief, disease or addiction. We are here when life does not make sense. With the out-patient program, flexible consultation is available with any of our professionals, and if you are not clear on who you would like to interface with, our team will guide you. We are a Call away anytime. Diagnosis and out-patient care enables you to love on yourself even when you have to meet work or other commitments. Representing a must-try option for those seeking mental health support for mild to moderate illness.
At Safe Places, out-patient care is designed to offer the maximum standard of care and benefits through treatment planning to fit your needs, packed with rigorous counselling, expert-led therapy, and ultra-gentle support to give you the tools not just to recover – but thrive. We aspire to become the driving force behind gradual improvements, approaching recovery with a ‘slow and steady approach. It’s the key to success, giving you time to adapt to new behaviours, learn new habits, and take on the belief that you deserve the life you dream of.
Out-patient alternatives offer the benefit of guiding you through real-world temptations and difficulties—no need for readjusting to your old environment and No shocks to the system. You’ll test your resolve and come out victorious by going head-to-head with your triggers throughout your recovery journey.

AFTERCARE PROGRAM

Our support doesn’t end as we wave you out of our doors. Instead, we view our partnership as a lifelong alliance, with our friendly team just a call away, an arsenal of resources at your fingertips, and listening ears at your disposal for when things get tough. Put simply; it’s an essential way to prepare you for life beyond Safe Places, safeguarding a relapse-free, smooth-sailing future.
As you step away from the comfort of round-the-clock support, daily structure, and an escape from your triggers, it’s essential to be aware of your stressors and cravings, and crucially, how to handle them positively. For example, suppose you are returning to the same environment as the one that fed your addiction or triggered your disease. In that case, aftercare will play a crucial role in ensuring you don’t turn to past habits, nurturing your recovery.
Giving you the best possible chance at long-term sobriety, we’ll steer you through life’s obstacles, responding to new triggers, navigating new relationships, building coping mechanisms, unlocking a life of fulfilment, and ultimately, helping you grow. From group meetings and continued out-patient support to ensuring we always have an experienced professional at the end of a phone line, we’ll slot into your recovery journey.
