How this site uses cookies.

The Bujjuko centre and its grounds

This notice explains what cookies and similar technologies www.safeplacesuganda.com uses and the choices you have. It supplements the Privacy Notice.

What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website stores on your device to remember things — a preference, a session, or (with analytics) the fact that a visit happened. Some are necessary for a site to work; others are optional.

What this site uses

This site does not use analytics, advertising, or social-media tracking cookies. In practice it stores very little: if you switch between light and dark display, the site sets one small cookie so your choice is remembered on your next visit.

The private message form uses a security check from Cloudflare (Turnstile) to tell people apart from automated software. It runs only on that page and may use its own cookies or similar technologies to do its job.

Your choices

Because the site does not set optional or tracking cookies, there is no consent banner to manage. If that ever changes, this notice will be updated first. You can also control cookies through your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site working.
